INTERCAMBIO CON CANADÁ

Nuestros reporteros, Noelia y Alejandro (3º ESO), entrevistan a sus compañeros María y Alberto (1º de Bachillerato), quienes les comentan su reciente estancia en Canadá, con ocasión del intercambio que nuestro centro ha llevado a cabo este curso.

Puertas abiertas en el IES Tierra

Los alumnos de 3º Diver hicieron de reporteros en las jornadas de puertas abiertas de este año.

ENTREGA DE PREMIOS CONCURSO MOTIVAR PARA EMPRENDER

Los proyectos que nuestros alumnos de 4º Diver han presentado este año al concurso, han sido:

- Eat & Sleep. Chema, Sergio R., Sergio S. y Roberto. TERCER PREMIO
- Bottom Safe. María, Cristina y Paula. CUARTO PREMIO

Nos vamos, el día 16 de abril, a Guijuelo a la fase provincial ¡suerte!

Cubrieron el acto nuestros reporteros Jezabel, Alejandro, Noelia y Carlos (3º Diver), que posan con el alcalde de la localidad, Javier Iglesias.

Cómo se hizo el Triángulo de Sierpinski del Hall?

Los alumnos de Dibujo Técnico de 1º de Bachillerato montaron el Triángulo de Sierpinski en el Hall del centro.
Para ello utilizaron muchos de los bloques que dejaron hechos los alumnos de los colegios de la comarca en las Jornadas de Puertas Abiertas, y completaron con alguno más para terminarlo.
Ahora la idea es continuar "rellenado" la pared completa.

Charla sobre los estudios de Ingeniería

Hoy día 16 de abril, d.Sebastián Marcos, profesor de la Escuela de Ingeniería de Béjar, nos ha dado una charla sobre los estudios de ingeniería.

Nos ha explicado diversas cosas, como qué es un ingeniero, qué es la ingeniería, los estudios que hay que tener para ser de mayor ingeniero.Hay 9 ramas de ingeniería.

Nos ha hablado de los siguientes temas:

▪️Origen y evaluación de la ingeniería industrial.

▪️Ramas de la ingeniería industrial:la mecánica.

▪️Ramas de la ingeniería industrial:electrónica y automática.

▪️Salidas profesionales.

▪️Ventajas de la ingeniería industrial.

Cross-Curricular Project About Our World

Here you are 6 presentations made by the students of 1^ST Year of ESO of the Bilingual Project of the British Council/MEC. They were given the coordinates of 6 cities and they were asked to prepare a PowerPoint presentation of at least 10 slides including information about those cities' locations,  seasons, time zones, ecosystems and climates, population and area, and distance from their home town.  As you can see, this was a cross-curricular project in which the students had to use what they had learnt in Literacy, Social Sciences, Natural Science and Technology. Thanks to these presentations we have all learnt a lot of interesting issues related to those 6 cities, and we have also reflected on the similarities and differences between those cities and Ciudad Rodrigo.
